Happy Valentines Day.
Welcome to our weekly Drains Today Blast,
This week our reactive ops teams have been kept busy on blocked drains for commercial and domestic customers. Working accross North Wales, Wirral & Chester saving the day for our clients. This work included blockage clearences in Mold, Buckley, Denbigh, Ruthin, Hoole, Upton, Great Boughton, Hightown, Brombrough, Williaston, Neston, Meols, Plus reactive calls to factories, farms and council buildings, plus work for a number of our letting agents at rental properties.
One memorable call was to a domestic property in Deeside, the call came in as a blocked toilet. On arrival we found the soil and vent pipe stack was blocked exteranlly with no access into the drainage system, the cast iron soil pipe had to be cut into to access the drain, the head of sewage is then released allowing access for high pressure water jetting. The drain was the high pressure water jetted clearing the system. A specialist access cap was then installed sealing the access point and allowing it to be used if the problem was to reoccur. The whole working area was then cleaned and disinfected.
CCTV camera inspecitons have been ongoing with house buyers surveys and condition surveys throughout the area for domestic and commercial clients, this includes build over agreement surveys and adoption camera surveys for assesment by Welsh Water as we are an Ssip approved contractor.
Our excavation engineers have been on groundworking repairs in Chester and Halkyn this week replacing, collapsed, fractured, cracked, root damaged & defective systems.
Thanks for reading our weekly blog.
